Hill’s journey to brewer/entrepreneur began in 1998 when he fell in love with craft-brewed beers during a business trip to Colorado. While a regional team leader with the U.S. Department of Interior, Hill decided to create a brew in his kitchen, fermenting it in his basement. He perfected his recipe for Ray Hill’s American Pilsner, a full-bodied craft beer with a round, malty sweetness and a smooth finish.
