Burnished copper color. Very little wood components in the nose. Peaches, Apricots, Cherries, etc. Almost no alcohol burn. These older bourbons are super and this is one of them. Great balance.
A fairly long finish of fruit, creamy vanilla, a little spice and a hint of wood. Fantastic.
It, Now! |
Bourbon making can be traced back to the late 18th century in our country's infancy and stands as a uniquely American spirit known for quality and craftsmanship. Bourbon must be made in America and predominantly from corn. This makes bourbon unique among all other styles of whiskey. Furthermore, bourbon is never stored in used barrels. New oak barrels age bourbon slowly over time so it garners a deep amber color and rich flavors as it matures.
