The Don Lino Africa has tobacco from Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. This unique five country blend gives the Don Lino Africa a complexity that is not found in any other cigar. The cigar is medium to full-bodied with damp earthy flavors. Perhaps the only thing better then the way this cigar tastes is the way it is packaged. Each box has is high gloss humidor style with a safari print on the outside. The complex flavor of this cigar is big, bold and balanced. With its combination of superb packaging and quality tobacco, Don Lino Africa has been selling out fast, so I recommend ordering a box when we have them.
Nicaraguan, Natural : Duma, Kifaro, Punda Milia
In 1999 a Nicaraguan Habana seed wrapper was set aside to one day make an exceptional cigar. This wrapper was later complimented with rare African tobaccos to create the Don Lino Africa, a rich and extremely complex cigar rolled by Miami Cigar Co. in Nicaragua.
In Seven Years, Mariana and Nestor Miranda Have Turned Miami Cigar & Co. into a Force in Cigar Distribution. Mariana worked with Campa until the end of 1989, when she decided to launch Miami Cigar. That same year, the Mirandas were approached by a representative for Don Lino cigars. The Honduran cigar maker was searching for a U.S. distributor, and the Mirandas, looking to establish their business, saw an opportunity. They acquired the rights and began selling Don Lino in the United States.
