The fabulous history of Bene- dictine began during the Renaissance when a Venetian monk at the Abbey of Fécamp , Dom Bernardo Vincelli, crea-ted an elixir from 27 plants & spices from the 4 corners of the globe. This elixir was highly regarded in the court of King François I, and the drink, which by now has become famous, was produced by the Benedictine monks up until the end of the 18th century.
B&B LIQUEUR is a delicate balance of Benedictine Liqueur and fine French Cognac. It can be enjoyed neat or over ice in a snifer, with whipped cream in coffee or with your favorite mixes. B&B is created with a magical mixture of 27 herbs and spices.
B & B liqueur In the 1930's, a barman from the famous Club Twenty One in New York dreamt up a blend of Benedictine and Brandy. This new drink was instantly successful, and was called B&B. Drier than Benedictine, B&B, which is very popular with the Americans, is the result of the careful blend between the strength of an old cognac and the 27 plants and spices which go up to make Benedictine liqueur. The formula, of course, is a secret, and only the chief distiller knows the exact composition of the B&B made at the Benedictine Palace in Fécamp.
