Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey
Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam have been anxiously monitoring the whiskey's maturation, and believe that the whiskey has aged beautifully and is ready to be bottled. Bernheim uses only soft winter wheat for a soft, sweet flavor and medium finish. The whiskey is 'small batch' and is produced at the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky and aged in Rickhouse Y at Heaven Hills Bardstown, Nelson County facilities.

Five years after its birth as a grand experiment in American Whiskey making, Heaven Hill is preparing to introduce Bernheim Original Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey, the first and only straight wheat whiskey in the world and the first truly new type of American Straight Whiskey since before the TTB began keeping records.
Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey is released on a limited basis and
packaged in a flask style bottle with a copper medallion label, applied
ceramic type and a wax-sealed cork closure. This is truly a gift
that leaves a distinctive signature of style, class, and highly refined
taste.
Perfect for a sending congratulations, business appreciation, a gift for
anniversary, or any other celebration.
Distilled by Heaven Hill, the makers of the Evan Williams and Elijah Craig brands, this small-batch liquor comes from a mash containing 51 percent winter wheat, making it different from its bourbon cousins, which contain at least 51 percent corn. Corn and malted barley make up the other 49 percent of Bernheim Original’s mash, which was distilled in January 2000 and aged for five years.
