The Dalmore Distillery
Established in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, Dalmore Distillery sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the rich and fertile Black Isle, the "big meadowland", from which it takes its name. For over 160 years, the distillery has produced malts of great character and distinction. The Dalmore Single Highland Malt Whisky Collection has won numerous, prestigious awards and is
recognized as being one of the finest distilleries in the world. The distillery was bought by the Mackenzie family in 1886, and the 'twelve pointer stag' was introduced from their clan crest - a symbol that still adorns each and every bottle of Dalmore to this day.
Dalmore Classic Single Malt Scotch
The Dalmore Scotch combines the smoothness of the Highlands with a robust, full-bodied flavor and character. From Norse and Gaelic, Dalmore means "the big meadowland" referring to the rich and fertile Black Isle, on the opposite shore of the Cromarty Firth from the distillery. The pure waters of the River Alness are used to produce The Dalmore, producing some of Scotland's very finest Single Highland Malt whiskies. Oranges first, a sherry matured, malty, velvety, medium bodied after dinner contemplative malt, very enjoyable and borderline ace.

15 Year Single Malt Scotch
The Dalmore's heritage dates back to 1263. It was in this year that an ancestor
of the Clan Mackenzie, owners of The Dalmore distillery for over a century,
saved King Alexander III from the fury of a charging stag. In recognition of
this noble act the grateful King granted the Clan Mackenzie the right to use a
12 point stag, representing a 'Royal', in their coat of arms. This striking icon
has since adorned each bottle of The Dalmore, symbolising The Dalmore
distillery's regal legacy. The Dalmore 15 Year was aged in casks that formerly
held Amoroso, Apostoles, and Matusalem sherries. This brings a sherry flavor,
predictably, but also a hint of warm winter spices and citrus. Because Dalmore
is known for consistent quality.

world-renowned sherry house Gonzalez Byass are selected exclusively for The
Dalmore. González Byass is one of Spain's most well-known sherry bodegas. Its
origins can be traced to 1835. The used barrels from this renowned sherry
producer are used by Scotch Whisky producers during the maturation of the
