The Bank Note brand was established in 1870. Bank Note blended scotch
is owned by the Morrison family, owners of celebrated independent bottler A.D. Rattray. Bank Note is a blend of 40% single malts to 60% scotch grain whisky. Most blends only have 10-20% max these days and are 80 proof. Bank Note is a premium 5 year
old Scotch Whisky offering the perfect blend of the finest malt whiskies (40%) from the Speyside and Highland regions, blended expertly together with the purest grain whisky (60%) from the Lowlands of Scotland.
Slowly matured in oak casks to produce a mellow taste with sweet richness and good depth of flavor, its appeal is timeless and, like other classic whiskies, is as relevant today as it was over one hundred and fifty years ago.
Bank Note Scotch
Light and fresh aroma with vanilla sweetness and delicate fruit notes. A soft
feel on the palate develops into gentle and subtle spice flavors with a mellow
and pleasing sweet oak finish. The sherry influence is there, soft vanilla and
all that, and the grain comes clean on the finish like any other blend.
