- The striking bottle designed to hold Sol Dios is a four-sided representation of the Mayan Temple and is hand made in blue glass. The bottom is stepped to simulate the steps to the inner Temple. The orange top is hand carved from wood and has the Simple Sun etched on the top. Sol ios, the elixir of The Gods, dates as far back as the Great Mayan Temple. It is there, that they found the simple sun etched in the stone, the round sun, represents the eye of the Sun God, who sees all hil eminating rays representing the eleven simple pleasures desired by all.
Sol Dios Platinum is hand crafted from 100% blue agave plants in small batches. It is made by a special formula which eminates about 90% of the fusil oils which cause the burning found when drinking most tequilas. Sol

Sol Dios Anejo
The round sun represents the eye of the sun god, who sees all. His emanating rays representing the eleven simple pleasures desired by all. It was believed that an offering to the gods of this special golden tequila would bring them these pleasures and it is said today that a true sun god or sun goddess who drinks sol dios will see all truths and feel all eleven pleasures, one at a time.
Sol Dios is twice distilled and filtered four times before aging 3+ years.

Producing Sol Dios Tequila
The twelve-year process involved in producing Sol Dios is a tradition dating as far back as the Great Mayan Temple, where the Simple Sun, which is inscribed on the bottle, was first discovered etched in stone in the Temple. The Sun represents the eye of the Sun God, which translates to Sol Dios, hence the name. The rays of the sun represent eleven simple pleasures desired by all. It was believed that the Mayans offered to the Gods this Golden Tequila and whoever drank Sol Dios saw through the eyes of the Sun God and experienced the eleven pleasures. The agave plants are cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico and harvested when they are nie years old. Only the heart of the agave is used for production, it is first steamed, twice pot distilled, then four times filtered in small batches to ensure the essence and true flavor of the plant is captured.
