Antinori Guado Al Tasso Wines
The Antinori family has been involved in the production of wine for over six centuries, ever since, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori entered as a member, the “Arte Fiorentina”, the Winemakers’ Guild of the city of Florence,
Italy. Guado al Tasso, meaning literally "Badger's Ford", takes its name from a common sight at the estate of Tenuta Guado al Tasso, Bolgheri, where it is produced. The vineyard is at an elevation between 44 and 58 metres (145 and 190 feet) above sea-level on stony, slightly calcareous soils. Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located 60 miles southwest of Florence, near the medieval village of Bolgheri, in an area known as the Maremma. Guado al Tasso was first produced in 1990.
Antinori Toscana Bianco
This Bianco (Italian for “white”) is a blend of four grapes: Malvasia, Trebbiano, Chardonnay Toscano, and Pinot Bianco. You may have heard of some of these grapes before, as they are commonly found throughout Italy. If you are not familiar with them, don’t worry — you don’t need to know anything about them to enjoy the wine. Through the decades, Villa Antinori has become very well known all over the world. In 1980, Chardonnay was added to the blend in order to obtain additional structure.
Have it as an aperitif, match it with all kinds of apps, pair it with simply broiled or lightly breaded white fish, chicken breast, sushi, pork.

Antinori Tignanello 2012
Tignanello is the first and most consistent of the great Super Tuscans. The original Super-Tuscan, Tignanello is produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard, a 47 hectares (116 acres) southwest-facing, calcareous rocky-marl and limestone soil plot with tufaceous elements, planted between 1,150 and 1,312 feet above sea level at Antinori's Santa Cristina Estate. In the superb 2012 vintage they succeeded in producing an outstanding Tignanello. A blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Individual pick lots are vinted and aged separately in French and Hungarian oak barrels for twelve to fourteen months. "There is a point of freshness but the tannins are mature and yielding. In fact, the tannic management is spot-on and is complimented by the velvety and rich nature of the mouthfeel. Pretty mineral accents add a lasting touch of complexity. The 2012 Tignanello has the qualities for a successful evolution."

Guado al Tasso
Guado al Tasso, the flagship wine of the estate, expresses all of the force and suppleness of this corner of the upper Maremma. It has contributed to raise Bolgheri to the level of the most important areas of Europe’s viticulture, expressing a decisively Mediterranean character of power, elegance, and balance.
