Bryant Family Vineyard
Bryant Family Vineyard was one of the original cult wines to emerge during the early 1990s. The 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 wines scored 97, 98, 99, 99 and 100 points, respectively, on Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, thus solidifying the winery's status as one of the top Cabernet Sauvignon producers in the United States.
The Bryant Family Vineyard is special, because it faces Lake Hennessy and thus gets a bit of a fresh breeze from it. The second factor that makes the wines from this vineyard so unique is without doubt one of Napa's most interesting winemakers: Helen Keplinger. Bryant Family Vineyard wines are highly allocated, scarce and difficult to acquire. There is a very limited amount available at high end wine merchants.
Bryant Cabernet 2010
Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from a 13-acre estate vineyard atop Pritchard Hill, overlooking Lake Hennessey. Smoke, tar, incense and licorice are some of the many notes that emerge from the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially dark, brooding vintage for Bryant. Cassis, pencil shavings and melted road tar emerge later, adding further complexity and nuance. Unlike the 2009, there is little in the way of early appeal. On the other hand, I see the 2010 drinking beautifully for many, many years. There is an underlying vein of minerality that gives the 2010 a sense of energy and focus. -Rated 96, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Bryant Bettina 2010
A gorgeous blend of Bordeaux varietals sourced from three of David Abreu’s own exceptional estate vineyards – Madrona, Thorevilos, and Lucia Howell Mountain
and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The 2010 Bettina is drop dead gorgeous. Mint, cloves, flowers, menthol and licorice are some of the many notes that burst from the glass. The 2010 is all about nuance, delineation and precision. There is a vibrancy to the 2010 that is simply striking. Dark blue and black fruit, balsamic notes, crushed rocks and pencil shavings are all layered into the powerful, mineral-infused finish. This is a stellar showing from Bryant. Perched on Pritchard Hill above the shores of Lake Hennessey, Bryant is without question one of the most spectacular vineyards in Napa Valley. -Rated 97, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
