Feudi di San Gregorio Wines
Feudi di San Gregorio was founded by husband-and-wife team Enzo Ercolino and Mirella Capaldo in the mid-1980s. Over the past two decades it has won over both wine classicists and modernists by taking novel approaches to the region's unique volcanic terroir while still respecting the essence of indigenous grape varieties like Fiano, Aglianico and Greco di Tufo. The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, about an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Aglianico is a black grape grown in the Basilicata and Campania regions of Italy. The vine is believed to have first been cultivated in Greece by the Phoceans from an ancestral vine. Aglianico can be found in the province of Benevento. In Campania, it is also the principal grape of Aglianico del Taburno and Falerno del Massico.
